Louisiana ATV Registration Requirements & ORV Stickers
You’ll need to register and title your ATV in Louisiana.
If you’ve recently purchased an off-road vehicle, you’ll have 30 days to transfer it into your name.
To do so, you’ll need to visit your local OMV office with the following:
- A title and registration application (DPSMV 1799).
- Proof of ownership of the ATV:
- Certificate of title.
- MCO.
- Notarized Bill of Sale.
- Proof of insurance.
- Proof of sales tax paid.
- Payment for title and registration fees.
