South Dakota ATV Registration Requirements & ORV Stickers
South Dakota DOR requires titles for ATVs and other off-road vehicles.
To apply, you’ll need to submit the following to your local county treasurer’s office:
- Application for Title and Registration: https://sddor.seamlessdocs.com/f/1001
- Proof of ownership of the ATV.
- Payment for your fees.
Non-residents can purchase 5-15 day temporary permits for their out-of-state ATVs to be operated in the state.
Temporary permits cost $1 per day needed.
